About Me
I live in a quirky green house in a little Cambridgeshire town called Ramsey, with my husband, two little boys, and an adorable pug. My house is actually very reflective of my photography style - unique, creative and full of soul. I’m obsessed with photography and capturing all the beautiful moments that life offers. I’ve always been inquisitive and creative; I spent all my spare time growing up, snapping away or taking videos of anything that inspired me.
So how did I get to where I am now?
I studied TV and Film at university, which included elements of photography and videography. It wasn’t, however, until I was asked to photograph a friend’s wedding, that I fell in love with it. This led to more bookings and during this journey, I also discovered a passion for newborn and baby photography. For years I dreamt of having my own studio and this finally became a reality in 2020, which still makes my heart do a little dance! Weddings and babies bring such joy to the world and I love being able to capture these special moments.
The imperfections.
With my creativity comes a pretty messy house! I invest so much time in my work, that unfortunately the home gets abandoned regularly, which my husband can definitely vouch for!
I have a serious sweet tooth. God help me if there’s a pack of donuts or anything featuring peanut butter in the house! There’s absolutely no such thing as just having one. If I’m left long enough, the whole pack will be gone in a flash.
I have an unhealthy relationship with my phone- check it about 20 million times a day, I don’t feel I am alone on this one though.
What else interests me.
I love dancing around a field to good music in a quirky outfit and bright coloured lipstick - I have a rainbow of good lippies in my collection
I am a binge-watcher - I’ve always been obsessed with a good series and can quite easily finish one in a couple of days. Thank goodness for on-demand TV. Some of my favs include The OA, GOT, The Queen's Gambit and Stranger Things. Any recommendations please feel free to send them my way.
I love fashion! I have recently moved away from fast fashion and am more focused on dressing sustainably. There are so many ways to shop consciously now, whilst following the latest styles and trends, which I’ve always been passionate about. I also love reinventing items I’ve had in my wardrobe for years.
